"It's really neat being able to diversify your workouts. Also, training with the group is a big, big part of what you're doing. If you didn't have the group, it wouldn't be the same."

By Moxy Girl - Denise Foerschler

My Moxy

My husband tells people, "she gets up a 5am to work out, she's crazy!".  I just roll my eyes & tell them "he doesn't get it".  How could he, right?!  I have done things that are impossible; 100 squat thrusts!, snowshoeing in 23 degree weather in the dark, up hill-of course, driving across town (you know that means really far) to Yak Track through the woods in the dark (see a pattern forming here) to see Fallen Leaf Lake by Moon light on the way down & Tahoe by sunrise on the way back up, to do V-ups in the sand as a Bald Eagle flies over head!  This does not happen! Ordinary people doing ordinary things will never understand this, we are special! We are lucky!  We get it!  We do it!

Thank god for my sister who "inspires" me everyday to turn off the snooze button & get up at 5am for that amazing workout, knows I can "endure" one more morning in whatever weather Mother Natures decides upon, & "believes" we can actually do this crazy stuff. And, thank god for the Moxy Sister-hood.  Moxy Girls, you know what that means!

I'm not quite convinced that I can call myself a "Moxy Girl", but I sure am working on getting there!

**Denise - you are 100% Moxy Girl...without a doubt!
